Breathe: You're okay – Album Bifold
Portfolio ProjectI created a bifold cover for a fictional album, pretend-created by the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA). The album would raise money for research and support for people suffering from anxiety and depression, in the form of research grants and sponsoring their yearly conference. I also created a few pieces of album-related merch to go with it!
I have no association with the ADAA, and this piece was neither requested nor paid for.
Creating this was unexpectedly cathartic. I’ve struggled with anxiety since I was small, and I put a lot of myself into this piece. This piece continues to remind me to take a breath from my shelf sometimes. I hope the design can do similar things for you.
PS. Please feel free to judge my taste in music, it’s truly awful.
ADAA Conference Lanyard
The ADAA has a yearly conference bringing together clinicians, researchers, and other professionals to discuss depression, anxiety, and related issues. The album (would) exist to help fund this conference, in addition to research grants. This lanyard references the album’s styling!
Merch
I created fictional merchandise including a hoodie stylized with the “breathe” logo text over the lungs, and stickers that resemble the record labels.
