This site serves as a portfolio of work for Cassia Duske, and a list of freelance services she offers through her business, Cassia Duske Design. ‘We,’ ‘Us,’ and ‘Our’ will be used.

   We do not store any personally identifiable information which you do not submit to us.

      When you submit information with our contact form, our server sends us an email with the details you enter.

      We will not use this information for marketing purposes, unless you request it or express consent to it.

      By submitting unsolicited information, you agree the information is NOT sensitive and/or confidential.

      Please be cautious with any information you submit to us unsolicited.

      You may have heard of cookies elsewhere! We only use one optional cookie, the Matomo Opt-Out cookie, to allow users to opt-out of analytics. We don’t manually expose a way to set the cookie (because we believe it’s far more complicated than encouraging users to use Do Not Track headers or other means), but it’s still possible to set it.

      At this time, we use Matomo On-Premises on our website via Cassia Duske Design to measure key figures that are important to us, such as the number of visitors and page views, kinds of browsers, etc. We use this information to improve the site.

      To give an example, analytics help us to understand how people view our site - like what pages someone might start at, what path they take through the site, how long they take to read a page, how popular certain pages are, whether people view it more on mobile vs desktop, etc. We have no intention of determining who views our site, just how.

      We have configured Matomo so that this measurement is carried out anonymously. We don’t use tracking cookies, and we anonymize IP addresses as noted below.

      • The first two bytes of your IP Address (ie. ‘192.168’ from ‘192.168.0.0’).
      • Page visited
      • Time & date of the visit
      • Web Browser used and version (via User Agent, which can be spoofed)
      • OS used and version (via User Agent, which can be spoofed)
      • The referrer domain, if your browser specifies one (this can be turned off).
      • Any outgoing links you click on.

      There are several ways you can opt out of our analytics.

      • We respect the ‘Do Not Track’ setting in your browser. More about ‘Do Not Track’
      • How to enable ‘Do Not Track’ in Firefox.
      • How to enable ‘Do Not Track’ in Chrome.
      • If you use Firefox, analytics will probably be blocked automatically.
      • If you use a request or script blocking extension like uBlock Origin, you can block the domain ‘analytics.cassiaduske.com’

   If you contact us, through email or our contact form, we may store records of our communication indefinitely. Additionally, we retain anonymized analytics data indefinitely.

      We do not share personal data with any third parties without consent, unless required by law. Our anonymized analytics data is handled by Cassia Duske Design.

      We do not presently receive any identifiable user data from third parties. We receive non identifiable analytics data from Search Consoles like Google Search Console & Bing Webmaster Tools.
