Kutztown Metals Society – Advertising & Media
folder_sharedClient Project for Kutztown Metals SocietyThe Kutztown Metals Society was a club based around the Metals concentration of the Crafts major at Kutztown University. I created a series of event posters, and managed their social media. I also created their discord server and its icon. Unfortunately, due to the university cancelling the metals classes, and the pandemic, the club ended afterwards.
*I did not create the Kutztown Fine Metals Society logo or colour scheme. The Kutztown University logo appears on these posters, along with their disability disclaimer, because it was a requirement for university events and posters.
Winter Sale
The Winter Sale was the biggest event on their calendar. Students lovingly crafted jewelry and other small items, and the entire club would put on a sale, helping students get their work out there, get experience selling their work, and raise money for club activities and equipment.
I created this poster for the event, and facilitated printing 50 copies on glittering gold paper on prominent boards across campus. These copies were placed indoors on campus. Other posters on-campus were all but exclusively printed on white paper, so our posters stood out.
For remaining and outdoor boards where gold paper would be wasted, I created a variation that was printed on standard paper.
The days leading up to the sale, we posted previews of student pieces that would feature in the sale on social media.

In addition to special event posters like the winter sale, or cans-for-straws drive, I created flyers for general on-campus meetings and announcements.
I also created a general-purpose template based on our logo with added details.
Discord
I created a discord server and assets for the club. The colour swooshes resemble the logo and neck scales, and the custom typography matches the style I’d established for the club. Riets in the corners add texture while keeping with Discord’s styling.
