Historic Autographs & Card Company – Website Redesign

Historic Autographs is a trading card company with a focus on historical content and memorabilia, who I’ve worked with before. I’ve created original artwork for them, taken photographs, and recently I designed their Inventory Database for tracking memorabilia in their inventory and managing projects. I had the opportunity recently to rework their website, historicautographcompany.com

While their early products were very sports-focused, they’re now more focused on historical content. They wanted a modernized theme that reflected their new historical focus. I created a theme backed on parchment, which took better advantage of their branding, and added new more legible typefaces and colours. I also helped reorganize and consolidate their navigation.

The Historic Autographs website uses WIX as a platform, which means that anytime they add content, they have to style any added content to match the rest of their content more-or-less manually. To help with this, I created a styleguide for them, describing how to style new content for consistency.
